Alright lovelies, you know the drill!
Up next…this month’s favorite Amazon purchases…
Blog content has been churning out like none other these past few weeks, amiright? Can I get a woo-hoo for that!? 🙂 Not only has this holiday season already been a whirlwind, but it’s been the best holiday season yet. Spending this time in our new home, decorating, eating good food, hosting events with family…there’s truly nothing more special.
I’ve also loved getting to know all of you more through the content I share. It makes me happy to divulge all of my favorite tips and tricks, especially when it’s during a hectic, busy season like right now. I know that I need all the help that I can get as a toddler mama, basset hound mama, wife, domestic engineer, etc. etc. etc. and I appreciate when other ladies/mamas share their favorites or what’s working best for them. It’s an easy way to continue to lift one another up and I hope you enjoy it as much as I do! As always, let me know if there’s ever any additional questions you may have or certain topics you’d like to hear more from me on. My email is always open!
With that said…let’s get on to another one of my favorite topics…noodles.
I have loved spending more time dedicated to creating content on my blog recently, and from the feedback I receive from you all, you appreciate it too. If there are every any topics you would like to suggest as content ideas, feel free to leave a comment below or DM me over on Instagram.
Now, if you are a parent, take a moment to think of the first time you felt the weight of your responsibility of caring for your children. We got heavy early on this post. 🙂 Ok, got your moment? What or when was that? Leave me a comment below! I think the first time I felt that responsibility was the day I found out I was pregnant. I remember that day clearly. I had this feeling a lot of people talk about – “you just know” type of feeling. And when the pregnancy test read positive I was OVER. THE. MOON. I already had purchased a onesie to surprise my husband because I wanted to be prepared to tell him immediately. I still plan ahead like that as a way to manage my stress. That day was our 1 month wedding anniversary so when I handed him a gift, he didn’t think it was anything out of the ordinary.
Happy October 1st! 🎃
I seriously can NOT believe September is over! 😱 Am I the only one who felt like it went by in the blink of an eye? Although now that October is here, we can be in full holiday swing right?
I enjoyed last months Amazon Faves post so I am happy to continue the series this month! I didn’t have as many favorites this time around compared to last month but the ones I am going to share are SO GOOD! I also have an Amazon wishlist that I’m excited about so hoping to purchase, receive and share some lovely stuff with you all in the next few months!
Let’s get into it, shall we!
Happy Tuesday! Is it the weekend yet?
Today I want to talk about finding your inner mama bear. I’m sure you’ve all heard the saying ‘mama bear’ and some of you may even wear the name proudly, but…have you really harnessed the true inner power of the mama bear? And do you remember to use it on the daily?
A quick google search of ‘mother bear’ turns up the expected headlines: “Mother Bear Fights Tiger to Save Her Cub!” & the Urban Dictionary definition is “used when you are going to do intense work.” If that’s not the understand of the year! 😝 So we know that mama bears are fierce, right? We know that they would go to the ends of the earth for anything to do with their cubs. So what about you, mama bear?
At the inspiration of one of my favorite social media mamas, Hayley Paige, I want to start a new blog series where I share my monthly Amazon faves! And based on the poll I added to my IG story last week, you all are excited to hear more!
Amazon has quickly become one of my husband & I’s favorite places to shop. I particularly love that it sells a huge variety of items at competitive prices. With FREE 2-day shipping (sometimes 1-day) using Amazon Prime, it can’t be beat! The list I plan to share with you every month will be what I have purchased for that month and consider favorites. I warn: the list is random. 😂
We’ve all met a mommicorn, watched one from afar or seen one online, you may even be best friends with one. A mommicorn – not so rare but similar to the unicorn as they are pretend and don’t really exist.
What is a mommicorn you ask?
Today’s blog post is about MUST HAVES for your baby 0-3 months old. My daughter recently turned 3 months old and, like I wrote in my post “3 things I wish I knew about becoming a Mom”, I feel like we are coming out of the thick of it. The first 3 months spent with your newborn are so hard! Our little one rarely slept and constantly nursed so let me tell you, we tried almost everything under the sun to help cope. Out of all the baby products we purchased I thought I’d share our favorites that actually helped. Products are linked!
As a new Mom of a 3 month old baby girl, I understand how precious time is. Every spare moment is spent rushing to sleep, or to feed and bathe yourself. I also understand that when you do find that rare time to leave your home, or if you decide to have the type of company over who have never seen the 3-months-no-sleep version of you, that maybe you’d like to at least have the option of covering up some of the “mombie”. The routine I have created for such moments is super quick and simple yet reliable for bringing back some of that pregnancy glow. 😏
Becoming a Mom is hard. Being a Mom is HARD. There are hundreds? of books on what to do, what to buy, how to be for Moms and soon-to-be Moms and yet the majority of them only give a small peek into what life is really like for us. Is this because they don’t want to scare us? I think what’s even scarier is getting blind sighted when you thought motherhood was going to be all roses and glitter. I’m a brand-new, stay-at-home Mama and these are the top 3 things I wish someone would have told me about becoming a Mom. Hopefully you read this and feel validated or it at least takes away some of your shock!
